Moore hangs on to advance over Ballards 57-55 in LIT
Game Summary- Moore jumped out to on Ballard getting a double digit lead midway through the first quarter on steals and converting them into easy baskets. Ballard began to chip away in the third quarter. The Bruin took advantage of the Mustangs poor foul shooting and there good foul shooting to close the gap. In the end the Mustangs had just enough gas to cross the finish line but Ballard made it interesting.
Stats-
Moore- William Bryant has put together a great tournament for Moore having a 17 and 17 performance in points and rebounds against Ballard. McKale McKay added 14 points, 5 rebounds , and 5 steals for the Mustangs.
Ballard- Quentin Snider helped fuel the comeback with 19 points including going 9 for 9 from the free throw line with many of those coming late. Kelan Martin had a double -double in a supporting role with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Winning Moment- This game wasn’t over until the final buzzer. Ballard had an inbound with .4 seconds left trailing by two. A good effort by both teams.
