Bullitt East wins the 6th region over PRP at the buzzer 47-44

Bullitt East advances to the state sweet sixteen with a buzzer beater by Trey Rakes from about 30 feet out. With the win the Chargers take the 6th region championship in a hard fought battle over PRP. The Chargers built up a 7 point lead in the final period but the Panthers fought back with their press and took a one point lead late. Max Clemons had a chance to give PRP late but was called for a charge with 3.5 seconds left on the clock. From there Rakes took the inbounds pass and hustled down the right sideline and threw up the desperation shot that dropped with the lit up goal for the win. Derek Willis led Bullitt East with 22 points and 14 rebounds while Max Clemons carried the Panthers with 15 points.
